Ingredients
Scale
- 6 large eggs (or as many as your air fryer basket can hold)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 250°F (120°C) for a few minutes. (Optional but helps with consistency.)
- Place the eggs in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd them.
- Set the cooking time based on your preferred egg consistency:
- Soft-boiled: 10-12 minutes
- Medium-boiled: 13-14 minutes
- Hard-boiled: 15-17 minutes
- Once done, transfer the eggs immediately to a bowl of ice water for at least 5 minutes to stop the cooking process.
- Peel and enjoy! Gently tap the eggs on a hard surface and roll them to loosen the shell. Peel under running water for best results.
Notes
- Fresh eggs may be harder to peel; use eggs that are at least a week old for better results.
- If your eggs develop brown spots, they may have been too close to the heating element—try placing them on a trivet or parchment paper.
- Store unpeeled eggs in the fridge for up to 7 days. If peeled, keep them in a sealed container with a damp paper towel to maintain freshness.
