Ingredients

- 1 cup chopped kale
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 medium cucumber, sliced
- 1 green apple, cored and sliced
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 small piece of ginger (about 1/2 inch), peeled
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Wash all produce thoroughly. Chop kale and spinach into manageable pieces, slice the cucumber, and core and slice the green apple.
- Juice the Lemon: Squeeze the juice from 1/2 a lemon, removing any seeds.
- Blend: Place kale, spinach, cucumber, green apple, and ginger into a high-speed blender. Add the lemon juice and coconut water. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth.
- Strain (Optional): For a smoother texture, pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove excess pulp.
- Serve: Pour into a glass, garnish with a slice of lemon or a sprig of mint, and enjoy immediately!
