Ingredients
- 2–4 large russet potatoes (scrubbed clean)
- 1 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
- ½ tsp sea salt (adjust to taste)
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp garlic powder (optional, for extra flavor)
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika (optional, for a smoky touch)
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for 3-5 minutes.
2️⃣ Prep the Potatoes: Wash, scrub, and pat dry the potatoes. Use a fork to poke holes all over each potato to allow steam to escape.
3️⃣ Season the Potatoes: Rub each potato with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings.
4️⃣ Air Fry: Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t overlap. Cook for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
5️⃣ Check for Doneness: Insert a fork or knife—if it slides in easily, the potatoes are ready. If not, cook for an additional 5 minutes.
6️⃣ Serve & Enjoy: Slice open the potatoes, fluff the inside with a fork, and add your favorite toppings like butter, sour cream, cheese
Notes
✔️ Size Matters: Large potatoes may need 45-50 minutes, while smaller ones cook faster. Adjust time as needed.
✔️ Crispy Skin Tip: For extra crunch, increase the temperature to 425°F (218°C) for the last 5 minutes.
✔️ Storage & Reheating: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes.
